Mystery as pub stays shut

Mystery surrounds a Shropshire pub which has been closed all week with even the owners admitting they have no idea where the landlady is.

Lin Hamorak, business relationship manager at Punch Taverns, said: “I don’t know exactly what’s going on, so I can’t say anything concrete.

“As far as we’re concerned there are no financial issues with that pub.”
